There are load of different street cats around Athens. To my wonder most of them look nice and clean. Many Athenians feed cats that are around their houses, so those cats are almost like house cats, but more free.
Street cats are usually very curious and will come to you to talk or ask for food from your table. Don`t be scared – they won`t bite!
Also Nine Lives organization makes a lot of effort to find home for those cats and neuter them to reduce the number of unwanted kittens.
